Maintenance

If your b.g. is dirty or sweaty, unplug the cables, and then lightly wipe your b.g. with a soft cloth for glasses or lenses.

If your b.g. is dusty

Use a hand blower made for cameras to blow the dust off your b.g.

If you cannot remove dirt from the eyepieces

Wipe the eyepieces using a cloth dampened with lens cleaner.

If the hinges are loose

Use a screwdriver to lightly tighten the loose hinges. Then, after tightening the hinges, check whether they work smoothly. They cannot work smoothly if you tighten them too tight.

Do not put fluids, such as water or lens cleaner, directly on your b.g.
Do not spray substances (air sprays, spray–type detergents, etc.) directly on your b.g.
